DEX Dendrometer
Calibration of the DEX range of electronic dendrometers (DEX20, DEX70, DEX100 & DEX200) is most easily performed by using the DEX Calibration Kit (Model # DEXCC) available from Dynamax. A simple step by step Calibration Procedure is available for download to guide you through the process. Also included is a DEX Calibration Sheet for recording measurements, an Excel Spreadsheet DEXCAL for calculation of the Calibration Multiplier and a basic Calibration program DENDROM.dld for use with Campbell Scientific Dataloggers.

HPFM / HCFM-XP
HPFM Windows Upgrade - A completely rewritten, but 100% hardware compatible version by Dr. Mel Tyree (Aug 1999). All the files in this directory should be copied to a diskette. Then run the install program setup. exe. Be sure to save your old directory by backing up. Specific steps are: 1) Temporarily rename C:\HPFM95 directory to c:\HPFM95old. 2) Run Uninstall any old version of HPFM95 installed with install shield. (In Control panel - Add/remove programs). 3) Install this new version 1.04 with ‘setup’ command on diskette. 4) Copy previous hpfm.cal file from the old directory, or the one supplied with the HPFM diskette, to the new HPFM directory. This new directory is found in c:\ProgramFiles\Dynamax\HPFM95.

Soil Moisture
Soil Moisture Level Irrigation Start Point (ISP) - Soil moisture chart. You pick the soil type, and it shows what are the ISP settings for the average crop or turf (50% of available water). Soil Moisture Control Calculator - A spreadsheet to enter turf or crop soil moisture % records. Designed for an irrigation audit and control planning. After a saturating rainfall, the spreadsheet may be used to classify the soil type by holding capacity in %, and then outputs the ideal irrigation start point for the average soil condition. You may adjust the desired management (water) depletion level. Makes use of the University of California, and Texas A&M University soil surveys and recommended irrigation management levels. TDP Sap Velocity - Excel version to compute sap flow from differential temperature, and user defined zero set. Works from any data set that can be imported. Just rename *.dat data files from Flow32, CSI logger, or any other logger to *.txt, open with Excel, copy to this sheet and give it a run. A TDP sap velocity user must get this one.
