RFMX stand-alone radio modems provide efficient and low cost serial communication link for long ranges of up to 20 miles. Modems are transparent to the data logger and user interface software. RFMX can be configured as a field modem while connected to the data logger or as a base station modem when connected to a computer. RFMX transceiver modems allow for real-time monitoring and control of remote data loggers and irrigation systems from a central station.

The modems can configured in point-to-point for a dedicated communication link between logger and control software. A pointto multi-point configuration allows multiple logger installations to be linked to central monitoring station. Dynamax software Flow4, Probe12, PC208w, LoggerNet are equipped with user interface tools for programming and configuring modems. In addition RFMX is programmable using windows standard Hyper-terminal. Wide range of 25 frequency bands and 7 independent hop sequences reduce interference from other mobile devices such as cell phones, pagers etc. and installing multiple pairs in the same proximity.
